All modules at a glance

MODULE 1: INTRODUCTION AND REGULATIONS 
You will acquire fundamental skills in the field of sustainable development and sustainable leadership. First, you will take an in-depth look at key concepts (e.g. circular economy, regenerative management) and current trends in the field of sustainability. You will then gain an overview of legal requirements (e.g. LkSG, CSRD, CSDDD), how these are changing (e.g. in the context of the Omnibus Packages), which standards are associated with them (e.g. ESRS and VSME) and their practical relevance. You will learn the basics of the concept of sustainable leadership and understand how you can apply it in your professional environment.

MODULE 2: GREEN SKILLS, GREEN COMPETENCIES AND SUSTAINABILITY LITERACY
You will deepen your understanding of elements relating to the personal dimension of sustainable development (e.g. productivity techniques, mindfulness, mindset) and develop key skills to enable you to act competently in a sustainable and digitally transformed working environment. To this end, you will acquire in-depth knowledge of green skills and green competencies as well as advanced sustainability literacy. In addition, you will analyse the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence and assess its impact on sustainable development for your company.

MODULE 3: STRATEGY AND REPORTING
You will acquire the skills to prepare a sound carbon footprint assessment in accordance with the GHG Protocol and use this as a basis for developing a transformation plan. You will gain in-depth knowledge of the application of strategy tools such as SWOT analysis in order to formulate sustainable corporate strategies. In addition, you will learn how to conduct a double materiality analysis to identify the relevant sustainability issues for your company. You will take an in-depth look at common sustainability reporting standards such as VSME, ESRS, GRI and DNK, as well as certifications (e.g. EMAS and ECOVADIS) in order to meet the requirements for transparent and comprehensive sustainability reporting.

MODULE 4: TRANSFORMATION MANAGEMENT AND ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
You will focus on key skills that are essential for sustainable change and the success of transformation processes, such as classic leadership aspects, dealing with crisis situations, stakeholder management, and developing and measuring performance indicators. Furthermore, you will deepen your knowledge of sustainable organisational structures and cultures, develop strategies for future-oriented competence management and learn how sustainability principles can be integrated into project management. You will sharpen your emotional and social intelligence in order to act sensitively in communication, in the transformation process and in dealing with crisis situations and conflicts.

MODULE 5: CASE REFLECTION AND COMPLETION
You will reflect on a case study from your practice and conclude the training course with a final presentation.
