CAS Sustainable Leadership Insights

In everyday interprofessional healthcare, especially in an operational setting, communication, mindfulness and emotional intelligence are key success factors. Further training in sustainable leadership helps me to develop these skills in a targeted manner and to anchor sustainable values in my field of expertise – with the aim of making economically viable decisions that also promote environmental responsibility and social cohesion.

The world is constantly changing, and so are the demands placed on managers. This Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) will enable you to initiate a transformation process and to reflect on and rethink yourself and your organisation in preparation for future challenges. The course also addresses the latest compliance and policy issues on an individual basis. We are delighted to be able to offer this course in cooperation with the Heidelberg Centre for the Environment (HCE), the Klima Arena, Falk Momentum and osapiens, thereby anchoring future and green skills in management levels. In my new role as Managing Director of heiSKILLS, it is a personal concern of mine to be able to apply these skills efficiently. Participating in this course has been an immense enrichment for my daily work, and I am delighted to be able to put what I have learned to optimal use, thereby enabling me to deploy and utilise the resources of the centre, my colleagues and, last but not least, my own resources efficiently and sustainably.
