Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning Violence at Home: Recognise and Act
Domestic violence includes both family-related and partner-related violence - in the form of physical, sexual, or psychological abuse. Reported cases show a steady increase in the number of victims, and the number of unreported cases remains high. Victims often hide the traces of the violence they have suffered out of shame. If help is seeking, doctors are usually the first point of contact.
