French

The Language Centre at heiSKILLS, University of Heidelberg, is looking for a French instructor (m/f/d) for the 2025/26 winter semester. 

Your responsibilities:
• Independently conducting courses (A1 to C1) 
• Correcting written exams
• Conducting oral exams 

Your profile:
• Native French speaker
• Academic degree (at least a bachelor's degree) in Romance languages, translation and interpreting, French as a foreign language, or a comparable university degree
• Teaching experience, preferably at the university level
• Enjoyment of teaching the French language and culture
• Good knowledge of German (at least B1) 

We offer: 
• Appropriate teaching remuneration (€1800 per course and semester) 
• Courses in the morning (8:30–10:00 a.m.), afternoon (2:15–3:45 p.m. / 4:15–5:45 p.m.) or evening (6:00–7:30 p.m.) 
• Well-equipped classrooms
• Provision of the textbooks used in the course
• A collegial and international working environment
