Career ServiceData Literacy Certificate WiSe 24/25

From the winter semester 2024/25 onwards, students of the humanities and social sciences will be able to take courses as part of the new Data Literacy Certificate.

In view of advancing digitalization, you increasingly need skills in the collection, evaluation and storage of digital data in both academic and professional contexts. At the same time, it is important to critically question computer-generated research results and social trends in digitalization: the certificate therefore provides orientation in this extensive field early on in your studies and teaches basic skills in computer-aided data processing for everyday university and professional life.

In order to obtain the 10 ECTS certificate, you must have attended the basic course and three advanced courses and submitted a portfolio. However, you can also attend each course individually.

Registration takes place via the LSF. Participation is free of charge for students. The courses take place in presence and in flipped classroom format.
