heiSKILLS Competence and Language Centre Mission

heiSKILLS is Heidelberg University's Competence and Language Center. We bring together the Teaching & Learning department, the Career Service, the Language Center, and the department of Continuing Education & Lifelong Learning.

Our forward-looking educational, counseling and service offerings are aimed at prospective students, enrolled students from all over the world, faculty, and those interested in continuing their education.

In this time of global change, it is our mission, on the strengh of our expertise, to provide those who choose our services with scientifically based opportunities in the fields of orientation, qualification, teaching and learning to support them in developing their professional and personal profiles as well as in providing approaches for sustainable solutions to global and social challenges as well as to their individual career and personal questions.
