Czech
Srdečně vítáme to the Czech Section Website
Czech is a West Slavic language and the official language of the Czech Republic. It is spoken by about 12 million people, primarily in the Czech Republic and parts of Slovakia. Czech is characterized by a complex grammar system and a rich literary tradition. The language is closely related to Slovak, which leads to a high degree of mutual intelligibility. Additionally, Czech is gaining importance as a foreign language, especially in academic and cultural exchanges.
