DAAD Language Test Spanish
Are you planning to go abroad for studies, an internship or research? Do you need a DAAD English Language Certificate? Here’s what you need to know.
Registration
IMPORTANT: Please be sure to use your Heidelberg University email account!
- To register for the exam, please sign up in the DFN scheduler (link on the right-hand side).
- The fee must be paid by bank transfer.
The test fee is 45 EUR for those who submit their appointment request using their Heidelberg University email address.
For all other individuals, the fee is 55 EUR.

- Please send the proof of payment, your language biography, and the first page of the DAAD form, completed and signed by you, to the coordinator:

Test Content
- Unless otherwise stated, the exam will take place in the Central Language Lab in Room 118.
- Written expression and reading comprehension: 45 minutes
- Oral interaction: 10-15 minutes
DAAD Certificate
Depending on the number of participants, you may receive your certificate immediately after completing the test. Otherwise, you will be able to collect it starting the following week on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm at the Language Centre, Room 307.
