Medical Physics and Technology for Radiooncologists Procedure

The continuing education program is designed as a blended learning course.

During the online phase, lectures are provided as video files, which can be accessed at any time and as often as needed. The online phase concludes with an online test.

The program ends with a two-day on site session in Heidelberg. Optionally, participants may visit the Heidelberg Ion-Beam Therapy Center (HIT) afterwards.

Class times

  • Day 1: 9:00 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.
  • Day 2: 9:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
  • Visit to HIT: approx. 1:15 p.m. – approx. 2:00 p.m. (optional)

To obtain the certificate of participation, participants must make use of the video lectures, complete the online test, and attend both on site days.

The participation fee includes coffee breaks. For lunch breaks, there are numerous options in the immediate vicinity of the Bergheim campus; an information flyer is available at the seminar center.

The teaching language is German. In some cases, lecture slides may be in English.

Due to limited seminar places, participation will be determined by the date your registration is received by the Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning department.
